I almost forgot!  Did you know you can freeze avocados???  Oh yes my pet, you sure can!!  Just half them, remove the seed, remove them from their skin.  Spritz them with a little lemon juice (to keep them from turning brown) and put them in a ziploc bag and in the freezer.  Avocados ALL. YEAR. ROUND!!

I do this during avocado season, which inevitably gives me 5,436 avocados from my tree.  And by week 3 I'm usually SO sick of avocados I can't look at another one, ever again.  For like a month.  Then I'm all like, booo, I wish had some avocados.  And into my freezer I go, and booo I am no more!
